Hoboken Grace · Dinner Groups
Things to run with your group instead of the week's questions. Ten minutes to a full night.

You want to encourage your group members. We want to partner with you.
Every group has the chance to grow beyond great conversation. These are simple ways to bring the four pillars to life so your group experiences a well rounded faith together. Keep them in your back pocket.
Connecting nights grow and strengthen the group's relationships and open the door to new friends. Aim for one a month.
A deck of photos that gets a room of near strangers telling the truth in ten minutes
A night with no agenda except getting closer, and the answer to the intimacy versus inclusion tension
Take one step outside the group and demonstrate God’s love where somebody can feel it
Communion means the act of sharing. On these nights the group shares a common activity that encourages each other in faith.
The night your group stops being people who meet on Tuesdays and starts being people who know each other
Break bread together and remember what Christ has done, as a group
Everyone in the room hears what they mean to the people around them
Two songs and some quiet, which is more than most groups ever do
Look back at what has been answered, then pray together for what is still open
The continuation of Sunday. These nights take the weekend message and work through what it looks like to live it out.
Tell your group what a discussion night is for before you assume they know
Before you start the next thing, help your group name what the last thing did to them
Five questions that work on any chapter of the Bible, with no prep
Each person names the next step they are taking with God, and the group celebrates and encourages every step.
The tool your group uses to name one step forward, and the night you introduce it
The monthly Experience Plan review, which is where the tool actually does its work
Three questions that tell you what your group actually thinks, including the one that surprises every leader
A worksheet each person does alone with God, and the night your group shares what came of it
Conversations that help one person in your group take a step: serving, baptism, or where the group goes from here.
Ten minutes of hearing where people already serve, which does more than any announcement you could make
Let the people who have been baptized tell their stories, which does more than any explanation you could give
A short reset that gets everyone taking ownership again, best run at a natural turn in the season
