Take one step outside the group and demonstrate God’s love where somebody can feel it

This one starts with a conversation, not an event.
Serving alongside each other builds deeper connections and gives your group a purpose beyond the living room. It is also the easiest thing to invite someone to who would never come to a discussion night.
The goal is to take one step toward demonstrating God’s love outside the group, together.
Read to your group
Somewhere in the next few weeks I would love for us to serve somebody together as a group. Not a huge thing. One afternoon.
So let’s talk about what that could be, and who we would want to invite along.
Who could use help
Start close in. The best ones are people your group already knows.
Who do you know who could use support right now?
Choosing something real
Small and personal beats big and impressive.
What could we actually pull off in the next month?
Inviting outward
This is the part groups forget.
Who in your life would say yes to serving with us even though they would say no to group?
Options worth considering: volunteer as a group for the Hoboken Christmas Exchange, deliver a meal or a care package, partner with a local nonprofit or school, or support a neighbor or coworker somebody in your group knows personally.
