Hoboken Grace Leadership Covenant

Leading at Hoboken Grace comes with a commitment, and this is it in writing. Every leader signs the same covenant.

The commitment

As a leader at Hoboken Grace I am a follower of Jesus Christ and I have been baptized. I am a member of Hoboken Grace. I am committing to:

• Meeting the requirements of my position as detailed on my job description.
• Operating within the Core Values of Hoboken Grace.
• Pursuing a life of holiness under the authority of God’s word.
• Pursuing my personal spiritual growth through:
  • Consistently attending on Sunday morning
  • Attending a weekly dinner group
  • Attending core classes when available
  • Practicing the Habits consistently: prayer, Bible reading, memorization, tithing, and connecting with other believers
• Attending Group Leadership Development monthly.
• Striving to see my team fill its role in the vision of the church.
• Doing what is necessary to see the vision of the church accomplished.

The covenant you sign

You fill in your name, the team you are joining, and the year. Then you sign it and date it.

I, [your name], understand that I have a responsibility to the body of Christ to be using my time, talents and treasures to edify and encourage those around me. I understand that growth in my own life as well as the lives of others takes time and hard work. In light of these truths and understanding the purpose (mission) and vision of Hoboken Grace, I am committing to God that I will serve and love Him and others through my commitment to be a part of the [team] Team here at Hoboken Grace for the year [year].
