Training · Leading Your Group
The three values every dinner group leader is aiming at, and what each one looks like in practice
Dinner Groups run on three values. Connecting the unconnected, helping people take their next step, and reproducing groups and leaders.
Under each one is what it looks like in a normal week of group life.

Drawing people into small group life.
Never ask someone “Is this your first time?” Ask “How long have you been going to Hoboken Grace?” instead.
Encouraging and celebrating people as they take their next step.
Sending leaders out on the mission of helping people find their way back to God.
TODO(nick): What does SALT stand for?
The handout says to attend monthly leader gatherings at SALT and never spells it out. Confirm what it stands for and whether these gatherings still run.
The 2025 Better Together workbook says the same three values in one page. Core Values and Tensions is the short version.
